Anybody who hasn't should check out 5/12/74 today. I only knew about it from Noah Weiner's blog but now I'm a huge fan of this little gem.

The AUD: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1974-05-12.aud-patched.warner.90176.flac16

The SBD: http://www.archive.org/details/gd1974-05-12.sbd.matt.22248.shnf

Give the AUD a whirl - it's only for a portion of the show, but it's probably the meatiest portion. The sound is extremely vibrant and the aud recording has a great deal more life than the soundboard in my opinion. Extremely jazzy other one with a nice MLB jam, and a really punchy ship of fools with a fantastic, lyrical solo from Jerry. It's extremely rewarding!

The soundboard is nice too, it's just lacking somewhat in energy compared to the audience recording. Check both out, since the soundboard has the more complete show.

The second set jam sequence is interesting, but its not a particularly strong performance. Strong winds coming out of the desert are blowing the band and their equipment off the stage...

I found the Truckin' and Other One really invigorating (despite the fact that Bobby complete screws up the lyrics to the latter). Also I really like the Ship of Fools, but that's nothing special; I haven't ever heard a bad performance of that song.
